Today, instead of taking a photo, I've been working on a logo for MaHeart. This Saturday is the 2010 Greater Washington Region Start! Heart Walk and I have chosen one in the above collage for a t-shirt for the walk. There has been alot of pink out there in support of breast cancer awareness, and while I am a supporter of finding a cure for all types of cancer (as I know many loved ones that suffer from/passed away from a different types of cancer, including breast cancer), it would be great if in February we see as much red in support of WomenHeart as we do pink this month. While most women list breast cancer as the disease that they fear the most, six times as many women die from heart attacks each year then from breast cancer and each year heart disease accounts for a third of all deaths in women.
